How much weight can The Purrgola support? The structure has been load-bearing tested to withstand 90 pounds (though we recommend no more than 50!). So take comfort in knowing your kitties will be very secure in this well-constructed, well-tested catio.

I live in a 3rd floor apartment. Is it safe to install this at that height? We include extra mounting screws that secure The Purrgola to the window frame, which we advise everyone use. We have never had any failures in our testing to date, but leave it up to the consumer to determine how high up you feel comfortable using The Purrgola.

What is your return policy? We accept returns within 30 days for any reason, so rest assured you can purchase with confidence! Just get in touch with us via our contact form or reach out to info@thepurrgola.com, and we can get you a shipping label to print. While we will take on the bulk of shipping fees, we ask for a $20 charge from you to help offset cost.

Does the cushion come in other colors? Not for this first batch, but we will offer more colors in the future.

How secure are the mesh windows? They are made from stainless steel diamond yarn, so they are more than sturdy enough to keep your kitties in and any potential critters or predators out.

My windows open vertically or are crank windows— will this work? Sadly not this model. We are working on engineering a second version for sliding windows, but that is a ways off.

How do I clean the outside of the Purrgola? The cushion cover can be easily unzipped and machine washed. For The Purrgola itself, just pop it out of your window and use a regular acrylic cleaner to wipe it down.
